Let it snow..

So, despite the time i "wasted" on it, i havent played that many games at Civ4.. expecially talking about scenarios or similar..
One day, with BtS and Vikings out, i felt like tryng the Ice Age map, preparin my self to struggle for life in a desolated white world..just to find out that it was mostly like a smaller map with bit more cold all around...
since then, i have in mind the idea of playnin that desolated white world i thought Ice Age map was.
My goal wud be a mod wich adds one or more map wich are mostly formed by Ice and Snow, wich adds Inuit civilization and their Igloos, wich adds maybe a little techs, and surely a building wich cud make the effect of Netherlands' unique one on snow instead of water..., wich adds to workers a terrain improvement wich makes em able to clean a cell from snow to uncover the, possibly greener, under terrain, and wich adds way often some snow to fall and cover those cells again, like it happens with growin forest in vanilla game.

Now, before i put my self in tryn to make a mod wich almost surely requires more skills and knowledges than i have, i wud like to know if anyone has made already any of this things, or if even someone feels like doin any of those instead me, with probably better and faster result ^^'

...anyone?

OSHAA!

This sounds like a great idea!

With any luck this also "only" involves adding artwork and editing XML and the like. No programming as such, unless you wanna go nuts and invent completely new game concepts.

So take the time to read up on XML in the Modiki then. Hopefully you can find what you need in terms of art, 3D models and such in other mods or in some other downloadable content, so go treasure hunting!

The community will be able to help you get things in order, for sure, but just don't except someone else to do all the hard work for you. So make sure to figure the XML thing out for yourself... Because you wanna be able to change all these values and abilities yourself anyway.

Spoiler:
Q: Who is the woman in the avatar image?
A: Miss Li.
Q: Why does she have a brass-eye?
A: It's a conceptual thing. More of the same on the profile page.

Q: What does you title mean?
A: That is the title of Miss Li's latest single.
