A quick question about diplomacy
Hi guys. Im having a little trouble selecting the "make peace with" option in the diplomacy box in a LAN game with a friend. We'd like to start the game as single nations, and then later on make peace. It just seems no matter how long into the game we are, we can never select the "make peace with" option.
I have tried using google and searching this site, but the things i've come up with didn't work (researching Facism as an example didnt unlock the "make peace with" option) I read somewhere that ticking the "Permanent alliances" before starting game would help, but the idea was that we would be able to make an alliance in a pressing situation, and then later breaking it off when we were both more powerful. I was hoping some of you knew how to do this, or what I am missing  Thanks in advance. |

First of all, you have to declare war on each other to have options like "cease fire" "peace treaty" and so on.
