Inflation is STILL in this game?
Was lookng through the XMLs and it's still in there. I HATE this stupid number fudging trick. Just adjust growth to match the economy you want in the game as you design it, but this constant percentage to increase costs without increasing cash flow controls is stupid.

I don't think there's any inflation in the game, the cost you pay is directly calculated from the units, roads, and buildings you have built.

I haven't noticed any inflation. As the game goes on, if you've managed properly, things get absurdly easier to build.

Really? And how much is your unit upkeep cost costing and how much does each unit cost? Do you know?

Unit upkeep definitely increases with time, but the inflation flag you mention doesn't seem to do anything when I change it in a mod.

you can't change it midway through a game. i'm currently testing my New Balance mod ideas that I want in the game and have inflation out for now- will see if it works.
