fail Gold?
Hey Guys,
I was trying to build the Oracle in my current game but got beaten to it by another Civ, is there a mechanism like 'fail gold' in Civ V? I didn't pay enough attention to notice  Cheers, Sax. |

yes, you get monetary return for the production spent failing wonders.

Yeah, it does seem fairly hard to build stuff. I have been struggling for gold in my game, should have tried to fail a few more wonders maybe
 Owned at Warlord so decided to try King, much much tougher Am trying for cultural but don't think I am going to get it tbh ...Sax. |

What Happens When You Are Beat To A Wonder?
Apologies if this has been asked before, but let’s say I am in the process of building a Wonder and another Civ completes it before me. Where does the many turns of Production I spent on it go? Do I get a gold rebate or something? From what I have seen so far all I get is a prompt in the city that lost the ‘Wonder Race’ to pick new production, and nothing else.
