Another "I like CiV" thread
Because Burger King got the last one shut down. They didn't even give us burgers!
Seriously, though, the end to this thread made me chuckle (there may have been a few "guffaws"): http://forums.civfanatics.com/showth...=396430&page=9 No more gambling, gents; the mods apparently don't look to kindly on it, even when only $10 is at stake. The use of the good ol' "ad hominem" probably didn't help either. :P With a little luck, people will use this thread to continue the refreshing trend of discussing the good side of CiV, and the trolls will stay away. I bet... I mean, "idly speculate" that it will eventually devolve to the point of forced closure, though. |

CiV is a pretty good game, I'm enjoying it so far, and think the patches will make it awesome.
Also, so that's how you get a thread shut down? Time to go gamble on the ridiculous hater threads.

Well it seems this thread is really going at the right direction, look at all the positive posts! None are even slightly OT
 If we do want to keep this thread alive somebody better start posting something serious. I don't want to sound like a partycrasher but the problem with threads like this is that the idea is good, continue a thread, but without the OP actually posting something to respond to it will normally don't go very far. In other words, edit your post man and put something in there to start this thread. Just saying "hey we can continue here" isn't working. |

Moderator Action: threads with no discussion in them are not going to stay open, threads that start out trolling certainly won't, further discussing moderator actions in public isn't allowed either - all good reasons to close this thread.
