What does file not found# mean when u cant load a game?

If the file isn't found, then it means that it probably isn't on your computer. Since you're the only one who can access your computer, you're the only one who can fix it.

Maybe if you give a few more specifics as to what file is missing, and whether it's a mod your playing, someone could help you. But you'll have to do it yourself ultimately. The best we can do is send you a file, which you'll have to install yourself.

.bix scenario files are found in ..\Infogrames Interactive\Civilization III\CIV3PTW\Scenarios. Presumably you were trying to play downloaded scenario called The World. You need to make sure that file is in the PTW scenarios folder.

If it only misses "#" then it searches probably for a civilopedia key, because they start with #

This can be the case when you add new units, but no pedia entries for them. You must specify a pedia entry in the editor, and this entry must exist as key (beginning with #) in the file civilopedia.txt. in your mod´s subfolder/text/ (I would NOT recommend to edit this file in Civ3´s main directory)

There was a problem with some of the scenarios included because the person who made them used graphics etc. from other programs, and/or were copyrighted. So they couldn't include them on the disk. You'll have to find it online somewhere and download it.

This error also occurs when you leave the "Civilopedia Entry" for new units, techs, improvements, etc blank.

I have fixed it i jus added civilopedia entries but i think now it has a problem loading saying illegal operation. But lets try it then its in the scenario forum. 31 nation scenario. It would be great for someone to help me with graphics etc.

Just have a look around at the work available in the forums here, download what you like, then install it in the appropriate folder in "Civilization III\Art", or "Civilization III\CIV3PTW\Art" if you have the expansion. Once you open it up the Art folder and have a look around, you should be able to figure out where to put everything. If not, you'll probably have a better idea of what questions to ask next time.

Oh yeah, don't forget to unzip the files you download first. Sorry if that statement insults you, but you sound like you're very new to computers.

I am not new with computers just with the game stuff, well i think it it says illegal operation cos i have no leaderheads on the scenario then, is that probarly why?

Well yes, not having leaderheads would probably have something to do with a file not found error.
