Red Dwarf Mod

i was watching some of my old RD vids and i started playing civ half way through Gunmen of the appocalypse and i was struck by the thought of creating a Red Dwarf Mod. I wanted help in bringing the story line into politics and conflicts. here are some ideas:

Civs
Humans: No leader
Cats: Cloyster or Frankistein
GELFS: Aheckaheckaheckaech not shore how to pronounce but its the gelf from the Kinotowowi
Androids: Death
Barbarians: Psirens inhabit asteroid belts
More: ?

Terrain: probably space terrain made by Lukree for star wars mod (that is if he lets us)

You've got my vote!

You could even replace all the Civ3 advisors with pictures of Kryten!
(Imagine that everyone....you too could receive well meaning but utterly pointless good advice from someone with a head shaped like a novelty condom....and all in the comfort of your own home!)

I wonder if a scenario rather than a mod would be better.
You could have 'seas' as space, and 'islands' as planets.
And as Red Dwarf is not really about empire building, maybe using the 'capture the princess' victory option, with the big rouge one starting off on one side of the map and earth hidden somewhere on the other side.
The objective would be to carry the "boys from the Dwarf" (modified princess graphics) all the way to earth in order to win, avoiding the other space nasties on the way, and picking up technology so that the ship can be continually upgraded and made more powerful.

I think humour is the key.
Go for it!

that would be cool.
i was also thinking of making Kryten(4000 series mech) the worker graphic for the humans so we could have the joy of watching him Irrigate, mine build roads, railroads, and frictionless surfaces

on the capture the princess game as the cat race you've got to get the Red and Blue arcs to Fuschal (Fiji).

Edit: Maybe as human you have to get starbug to the "gigantic red trash can with no breaks and 3 million years on the clock" and then back to Earth

2nd Edit: Earth is in far corner of map to Red Dwarf, Starbug (Not a Flag unit) aproximatly half way between

objective: get starbug to Red Dwarf and then Take the possie home
