Map Request: Atlantis Implemented
Hey all. I'm a newbie here and being that there's no stickied world request thread, I hope it's okay to post this. I've had problems with the world builder in the newest SDK release. Hopefully this request is possible.
This is what I request in detail: ![]() * User building world is up to date to December's Civ5 patch. * The .civ5Map file is to only be edited with the instructed diagram. Please no other additions to the map. * Random start locations for all AI / other players. * If possible, please make a mandatory start location (settlers) for Player 1 at the requested location. (Not sure if that's possible for a "Single Player Set Up Game") The probable civilization will be India. Enclosed are the diagram and already generated Civ 5 Map. For those that are attempting this map. I thank you in advance! For the administrators that think there shouldn't be a request thread in this forum. Sorry! ![]() ----- Edit: It's come to my attention that the presumably the only way I'm able to have a predetermined starting location is if it was a scenario. If I'm correct then here are the game rules: Difficulty Level: King, Standard Game Speed, 22 Civilizations (Player 1: India, other 21 Civs), 0 City States I know this is alot of work, but I trust the map maker to place the other 21 civilizations in fair conditions. (IE: France and Spain don't have to clumped next to each other on a Std sized map) Game Rules: No victory type (Should last forever) 4000 BC (Ancient Era) 0 Turns Allow Policy Saving Allow Promotion Saving No Ancient Ruins No Barbarians Random Personalities (nothing funnier than Napoleon being a pushover and Ramk being a psychotic warmonger.) I don't think Atlantis was about as big as Australia there chief! Haha! It, at most, would be one or two tiles.

Lol, c'mon guys. Obviously this isn't historically accurately. Hell, to say Atlantis existed would possibly be false. We don't know, yet. This is just a scenario and/or set up game request for an island in the Atlantic that could nicely fit two cities. If I could do it myself, I would have. I request this only as a fan of the site, hoping for the skills and talents of those of you who are familiar with the SDK. This is only a friendly request.

omg... that surely brings back some weird memories.
When i was actively modding for cEvo with the X-Worlds pack, i had such an "Hypothesis" for Atlantis as well; lowered sea levels dramatically to expose the whole area surrounding the Azores! If you have Civ4-BTS + BMP converter - then it would simply be a matter of fixing the file below in WB to have a C4 map & then, use CiV_WB to convert to hexes framework.
