julian Assange: Manipulations

Julian decides to shake the world up a bit more



Opting to drag DeGaulle into the other continets war.

Meanwhile Wiki-spies stole



granting emancipation to the Wikis but more importantly allowing another espionage building.

DeGaulle's war with Qin was short-lived as he caapitulated to the Egyptian Khan creating a strong if technologically behind power block. Julian had to take care of that.

First the diplomatic situation



And the khan has enough on his hands.

Next the wiki-spies continue



And after adjusting our slider to bolster our gold output we managed



And stole



Resulting in



Beakers are completely unncessary in WikiWorld.

Soon we find out why the Egyptian Khan has enough on his hands



He wanted the Dutch HAtshepsut to be where she belongs, on the Egyptian throne or as Julian thought bound and gagged at the khans feet.

While Julian wants nothing to do with intereferring with Khan's mating rituals plus a leering desire to remain happy with the Dutch Lady, Julian decided that the odd man out needs to be addressed



Almost immediately we get the request from DeGaulle



And proceed to drive the wiki's into Roman lands



The main emphasis is not forgotten with the current excitement



And a close Roman city is captured and DeGaulle captured a former Montezuma city which was great becasue we had a spy there and DeGaulle has not built any espionage buildings there yet.

To prevent any mischeviness from ghenghis



and we started espionage again although other options have popped up



Apparently Suliman still likes us

Espionage is diverted towards Suliman



However there is one big issue



NO OIL. Ah well, it's the basis of a filthy capitalistic situation that Julian does not need.

Espionage against DeGaulle yields





And against Suliman



While we made this trade



AS noone has researched rifling yet for us to steal we saved

with our espionage situation



Monty deserves a few eps now as he is researching communism.

And we saved here. I should point out thatJulian does have ONE source of Uranium.

SO I think we build an industrial base and be prepared to steal our way to space unless the Khan has other plans.

Get the oil source on the island to your west if you need oil. You can definitely afford a city there. OF COURSE, your other option is Standard Ethanol, but you need a GS for that.
EDIT: Wait, you're LOSING gold???? Go with Standard Ethanol.

Losing gold at 80% E.-slider, doesn't look that bad to me. A city next to or on that oil near Aryan (or Aryan itself in case the oil is in its second ring) should be affordable.

Won't be second ring to Aryan, looks like fourth to me. Also it is not even on the same island.

Are you taking suggestions for the next RPC? I like the idea of a Yi Sun-Shin (Korean Admiral guy) RPC, or play somewhere really small and isolated, like a Greenland game on an Earth map or something.

JUlian Assange: The End of WikiCivilization

With three friendly civilizations on Julian's borders tech theft continued to be easy





Julian decides to adopt the principals of State PRoperty



Julian then has his minds on visiting the fair HAtshepsut's lands very soon



PArticularly since the fair Hatshepsut has secretly tried to esablish a victory path behind Julian's back



Having HAtshepsut live in blissful peace while the Dutch enjoy cultural enlightnement? PLEASE>>>>>>>>>>

However, DeGaulle is never to be trusted, so Julian leverages his money a bit more



DeGaulle and Genghis stayed at war for the remainder of the game, but also remember Genghis initiated things with HAtty first



Julian sits back and smiles as the world erupts into a massive war while the Wiki's stay out of it. Especially since Julian is more than willing to fall back on bribery to keep that state



While the world is at war, Julian takes to time to have a little love fun with HAtshepsut





The idea is to take out and raze as many of her cities close to cultural centers as possible.





We tried to reach Amsterdam but HAtty did have sufficient troops to weaken it, and since julian is really a lover and not a fighter.



HAtty was willing to take peace as soon as JUlian swiped rifling from DeGaulle.

SO Julian was left to planning and stealing while DeGaulle and Khan fought their war.
















Julian is doing quite well in technology and Hatty has once again opened borders in friendship although much less trusting now.

Theft continues as Julian heads towards some late game wonders










Julian built the UN with a Great Engineer. Unfortunately DeGaulle got control of it, but Julian in unconcerned as he has a vote in it.

Julian Assange: The End of WikiCivilization

After all this theft Julian checks the techs



Now even with DeGaulle who is a SpaceRAce and UN rival.

To combat this Julian has a massive statue of himself built in a border city facing DeGaulle's throne.




FAce with the prospect of staring at his face all the time DeGaulle demanded some fee for this



Which Julian gratefully gave and the DeGaulle/Khan war continued.

The next theft was



And Julian immediately beagn the race to the internet, difficult as DeGaulle had mining Inc to assist him. However, state property shall persevere over capitalism.





The UN votes for diplomatic victory continue to be alarmingly close





Also to slow DeGaulle's progress on the internet and boost relations through favored civics



All the while the Egyptian/Ottoman war continues.

Soon Julian finishes



And vast knowledge from it and spies flood into the Wiki's













Not bad, Apollo is built and construction of the needed spaceship parts begun. Espionage continues to increase and Julian has more than enough to steal the remainder of the tree, spies are stationed in Ottoman cities to destroy DeGaulle's space program.

As Degaulle comes with a city of dead Egyptians from victory




DeGaulle became even more arrogant and started making real outragous demands



Frankly I have never gave that much gold before but Julian caved in. WOW!





The Wikis worked fast and explosions were heard in Ottoman lands, however there was one thing Julian could NOT ignore



Once again the Dutch queen approached victory and once again Julian's hand was forced



The thrid cultural city was offshore and a convenient naval assault captured



And razed it. HAtty is ticked off now and ready to send a large army our way.

But the threat of a cultural loss was abated



Followed by a timely UN vote



The war ends and a valient soldier makes an incredible journey north the Juian triggering a Golden Age




Construction of the Space SHip ahead of DeGAulle seams assured now especially with the Ottoman project completely trashed



Julian relaxes as he awaits the 15 turns until the SpaceShip lands on Alpha Centure to bring more wikis across the galaxy.

However, DeGaulle had one last trick up his sleeve.





With 4 turns left Degaulle get's a UN victory!

SO all of Julian's espionage work has resulted in another civilization taking control of the world via diplomacy.

Honestly, I don't quite know if Julian has actually won or lost here?

I don't have a good overall sense of how things progressed, but: Was there any point at which you might have been able to bribe for better relations with at least one of the civs that voted for De Gaulle?

vassals vote always for the master, so mad had only mongols as option since hatty he declared on to not allow the culture victory.

it looks unsolvable (except for some mad (hint hint!) war against leading block). I had similar situation in Mehmed IC game where Mongols run away with game and they eventually did the right thing when i was few turns from launching.
