Sure, if people are willing to live with a somewhat mediocre film. Without Mark Ruffalo's performance, I think the movie would have been meh for me.

They've been talking of doing a Doctor Strange film for years now. I'm sure Dormammu will appear whenever that happens.

I have faith in Marvel Studios. They've only managed to produce one mediocre film, and it's still plentifully entertaining. Doctor Strange may be imperfect, but it certainly won't be Fantastic Four imperfect.

Doctor Strange? Ooh, wonder who we'll get to play him?

While not a feature film, I did watch The Corporation yesterday. Perhaps a bit long for a docu, but definitely a recommend.

He's been a suggestion I've seen floated (then again when isn't Depp considered for something). Sam Rockwell made it as far to actually be in talks, but since he ended up as Justin Hammer, I don't see that happening. Vigo Mortinsen and John Cusack were some other popular choices.

I'm trying to watch Captain America but it is just such an awful film. The acting is terrible, the dialogue is sub par, the plot could be soo much better but it crumbles into a crap pit, the casting is an abormination - the female English agent is just so far away from what the tone of the film should be I cannot believe after her first scene she remained in the film, the main actor has to be the most wooden actor ever to be in a main role of an action film and he is the most genuinely unlikable one too.

You're a bad person, Quackers.

I saw Rango on Netflix. Good fun. A tad surprised it didn't get a PG-13.

You can't tell me you actually liked it?
I could get more personality and character out of a tangerine then that film!

It was probably my second favorite Marvel movie after The Avengers, but I'm a big fan of the character to begin with. It was cheesy as hell of course, but still really good.

Unless you're talking about this little slice of hell.

That must be it. I have never read any Captain American comics so I saw the film unapologetically.
Probably quite similiar to my love of HP books which translates to a generally positive view of the films:P When they are actually very poor:P

For once I agree with you. The conflict in the film was also pitiful. It was as though Red Skull got defeated once Captain America tried. There was no suspense at all.

I saw 2/3 of Thor before it became unwatchable (the disc, that is, not the movie) and all of Captain America. I thought they succeeded as comic book movies, although I probably think a lot better of them as Avengers prequels than if they had to stand on their own.

Captain America was always more of a DC character. A bit more superficial; with equally superficial villains. Although I must say the movie was pretty good as far as superhero movies go.

I recently watched Kick-Ass; a true recommendation to all fans of "superhero" films!
