I get a feature transfer error
I wanted to reinstall BTS and havent been able to because i get this feature transfer error. The error shows up once the game starts installing, i get a 1/3rd the way installed and the message appears. The message appears like this:
Feature transfer error Feature: Defaultfeature Component: Warlords Component File: D:\data2.cab Error  ata error (cyclic redundancy)After i click the message the installation process ends. If anyone could help me troubleshoot this id appreciate it. Thanks in advance for your time.

Not much you can do in that case i think, when a crc error shows up that means the data on the disk is damaged.
If it is the Warlords cd, you can just skip it and only install civ4-vanilla & latest patch and then BTS & latest patch. BTS does include all relevant features which where indroduced in Warlords in the files which it does install. You will not be able to launch the game in "Warlords - mode" in that case, and unable to play the warlords scenarios. But if you just wan't to play BTS Warlords is not needed. |
