Click here for a fix to CSD/TBC
Think its a good idea to make new topic for it, as my fix may be hard to find otherwise.
If u experience UI bug/problem when launching CSD with TBC beta then download and unpack the file below and replace with it the orginal one located in CSD Buildings folder. Only malus is that F. Gazebo's also going to offer a temporary solution to this in his thread, which changes his national wonders back to a 100% prerequisite requirement. The difficulty we're trying to solve is how to make his mod compatible with my change to national wonders as a 75% prereq requirement. I'd recommend using his tentative fix once it's available, until we come up with a permanent solution.

Even tho thats a bit off topic :
Thal u rly need to disable purchasing of diplo unit. All diplo buildings are of no use and concept is ruined when i can rush buy an Envoy for 600 gold. In far far away city next to a City state i just bought 2 diplomats and ta da, now ally of that CS. Normally i would had to produce that envoy in one of main cities and send it for a long jurney to that CS. Then build diplo structures and N. wonders to boost the production speed and only in need and when i can afford it, use money to bribe CS directly. Thats where u use gold for CStes - bribe/diplo misions. With time ( teach progres ) diplo units will be more expensive ofc but add commerce politic and Big ben ... |

I feel disabling the capability to spend gold on citystates devalues the importance of gold too much.

Is that the file that change CSD N. wonders req to 75 %?
And : "*b20 Changed a few things for compatibility with Gazebo’s City-State Diplomacy." - did u solve the problem and we can undo my fix ? btw : Im not suggesting to disable gold spending on citystates. We can stil bribe them, right ? There was whole strategy on where and when to start train diplomats. Whole CSD is based on that. Rush buy breaks it. U will see urself, ppl will start complain :> Then again, i only share my opinion and can remove that myself ^^ |

You can give it a try, things should be working now.
The purpose of CSD is to localize diplomacy by replacing bribing with diplomats, doesn't have anything to do with purchase/build balance. Gold and production are equivalent so it's important both are equally useful.
