Large Mafia Game: Highway to Hell [In Play]

While that particular lynch was kinda meh, it leads me to believe that if the scummers try really hard not to gain salvation or damnation points, they could survive lynches.

Meanwhile, they're murdering, leaving us at a disadvantage.

I don't have a solution to this, more information is needed. Any ideas?

Correct. While early lynches are usually worthless, they aren't in practice, as I can name some very recent games where scums got picked off early.

The other thing is, we have a finite number of lynches, and a finite number of murders. Because the game is in flux, we don't know the precise number of either. However, lynches would be our only tool to defeat the enemy, and when we choose not to use them, or we cannot use them because of a game mechanic interfering, we lose out on our number of lynches that we can use. As the number gets smaller, the odds of victory by random chance approach zero.

While not lynching will increase the number of murders it takes to bring us down, assuming one mafia family, every murder will be a townie. Whereas, assuming a random lynch candidate, every lynch will not necessarily be a townie. By that reasoning, we need a maximum number of lynches.

If two mafia families, it's technically possible to win by the mafia destroying each other without out help, but it's very unlikely.

Every murder brings us closer to defeat, and every lynch we lose out on brings us closer to defeat. Our only path to victory is the lynch, unless we have vigilantes.

I believe that murdering at night will lead to get - in salvation points, so when such person would be lynched, she/he would go to hell...

First hypothesis is - something you can do in the game thread. I am trying hard.

Second: maybe use of some night abilities? Like saving someones life or something like that. But it would be unfair for people who do not have any special abilities, like me

Yeah. I don't know how to gain salvation points unless not voting is one of the methods, and frankly, I'm not sure that's worth it.

I hope that Zack thought about it, and that he made at least one method of gaining positive points avaible. But of cours I do not know if it is that method.
It is also possible that interacting with people in hell/haeven can get you those points.

It may be not worth it, but for me trying is fun. And different from what I typically do in other mafia games. So, it is good for me

I a sure you guys have all heard of the brochures stating that it is all pain and suffering, but that is not the case. Things are actually quite interesting down here. There is plenty to do down here and there are constant fiddle contests down here, so the music is always fantastic and the scene is magnificent. The devil himself is a master fiddler and he always steals the show. I have never known anyone to be able to play that day. Even though everyone who goes up against him loses, but we are just so kind to him, since he is just so kind to us, so we have to let. I am working very hard on my technique, but right now I am not good enough, but one day I will be. Also I have this really hot blonde chained to me, so things are looking for me being in hell. I just hope more of you get down here to enjoy the fun. CYA.
