Pope Mussolini

A new, large bronze statue of the late Pope John Paul B' has been met with harsh criticism due to its modernist style, and also its deemed resemblance to Benito Mussolini.

The link of the article is http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/eu_vatican_pope_s_sculpture

And here is a pic of the statue:

It is placed outside a train terminal.

Personally i do not find it to be clearly resembling Mussolini, or any other figure other than a nameless bald person. I rather like modernism in sculpture, but i would not want it when it has to be a portrait/bust of a specific individual, due to the limitations of that style.

What do you think of this statue?

Bad art indeed, but it looks nothing like Mussolini to me.

To me, that looks like a... thing, much less Mussolini.

It looks like it tipped over and a large piece broke off when they were loading it onto the truck. I can't believe an Italian made that piece of crap.
