Half Life

Got it a few weeks ago. (Like 1.5 or 2)
And I've beaten it on Medium. Unlike my poor friend Fishheads, who is stuck on the Border world of Xen because he can't do the long jump and is only playing on easy.

I've had very little trouble with the game.....but I did find it fun and challenging. Does anyone know any good sets of extra levels for it? I've downloaded 3 extra missions and beaten one so far....

I've tried to get bots and get into online play but whenever I download the patches they become corrupted and I wasted 7 hours, in a row! doing it!!!!

Anyway......

Really....A person has Nuclear Weapons but doesn't have Literacy.

BTW, Half-life stinks, s***. I hate FPS. Never tried Doom, even once!

Half Life is taking FPS and mixing it with Strategy. That's why I like it so much. Strategy in how to take out that tank with only using a crowbar and a few snarks, etc...(I never did that BTW, Tanks fire invisible artilery shells )
Doom, Doom2, Quake, Duke Nukem 3D, were all about killing everything, getting the keys, and exiting the level. Strife (not well know game based on the Doom engine) was one of the first FPS to add missions and interactive characters. That was an awesome game. Quake 2 also added missions, but it was still pretty similar to Quake. Half Life has interactive characters and interactive terrian, a half decent story line which most FPS lack.

I just really like the game. One of the best.....if not the best, FPS I ever played. Although Strife was a break through in FPS!!!!!

Anyway.....if you don't like FPS then you wouldn't like Strife. Opps, I mean, Half-Life.

Granted CornMaster, but it remains mainly a FPS, which I hate... I really wonder how deep can the strategy be. And I think the more appropriate term here *would* be tactic. You only have to be subtle to take away the enemy horde. But it's limited. Really.

Well, honestly, I'll give $1M to the one who can make me try a doom-like only once Challenging, isn't it?

It doesn't really prove anything, though. I really like red meat. But if I, through a bet, was in a situation where I had to shell out a million bucks to eat it, I'd lay off the red meat all the same.
