A Closer Look at AI Flavors

I've noticed that many civs have a tendency towards certain play styles. For example, England will always prefer naval expansion, while Cathy is always land hungry. If you want to find out what civs have what tendencies, go to sid meier's civilization v -> assets -> gameplay -> xml -> Leaders.

I'll go one civ at a time. Lets start with the newest: Harald Bluetooth

Harald has a strong naval flavor. Even more than Lizzy. He will try to expand to the coast as much as possible and gather resources such as pearls and whales.He usually builds strong navies. He is bold, but loyal to friends, and not a competitive player in the slightest. He won't try to build wonders and he is one of the least likely AIs to win the game.

I'll never understand why so many people don't bother to put information relevant to discussion in their OP -- just telling people 'go here and look it up' is very annoying <.< There are many people whom don't like to go through their files, for any reason, much less to find some somewhat relevant information lol.

Gandhi has a strong propensity for annoyance and seems to focus on this when not expanding. But he's a super-wuss who rolls over at the slightest provocatation. But even while quaking in his sandals he'll still happily denounce you ever other turn.

There is no map that is called assets

On my computer its Program Files -> steam -> steamapps -> sid meier's civilization v -> assets -> gameplay -> xml -> Leaders

You should see a file for each of the original 18 leaders

This is not including dlc civilizations, I'll get back to you on those

I have a windows 7 computer, I don't know if xp, vita, or mac organize things differently

"assets" is a folder, not a map

If you find it you can tweak these values to, for example make a peaceful napoleon

Good luck finding them

And still dont know what diplo balance means anyboy know that?

"Minor civs" would be city-states. Not sure what diplo balance means.

The "major civ" is any civ not including barbarians or city states.

Make sense that Siam should have a lot of anything having to do with diplomacy. Their unique ability gives them a bonus in the amount of food and culture from city-states.

BTW, I am looking for chieftain-king level players to play online civ V. I live on the east coast if time is an issue.
