New pick, as I see Barry Bonds isn't eligble. Instead, I choose...Jason Giambi! The logical replacement for a power hitter, plus he's a YANKEE!

OK, so just because cgannon64 slips you a few bucks under the table he gets to go first, eh? So, that's how we're doin' it...

Seriously, what is the draft order? Or is that sealed only to be known by you, onejayhawk?

BTW, did I mention just how cool of a dude you are...

What are you talking about, I did nothing of the sort! I just gave him $800 worth of old school jerseys to remember me by...

It kind of seems like this process has the potential to take a VERY long time.

I propose that everyone involved with this draft be online tomorrow, that's Sunday, February 23, 2003, at 6:00 pm Central time (that's 7:00pm Eastern, and 4:00pm Pacific), and let's try to plug this thing out as much as possible.

Anyone else game?

In the meantime we can continue as we are currently going.

The only ground rule should be that you have three minutes to make your pick, or else a Tampa Bay Devil Ray gets added to your roster.

Lets see, my first pick, A-Rod, is gone.

And than Tejada was picked, and than I saw that Giambi was taken.

So, I will go with..........Barry Zito!

Good thing we're not following my three-minute rule.

Picking sixth kinda sucks. There's still a lot of great choices, but the "no-brainer" choices are quickly drying up.

Though it pains me to do so--because I'm really not fond of the guy--I guess I'll go with OF Manny Ramirez.

[Boy, that hurts. Now I have to root for him!]
