OOC: Terrance, if you were as in character as you say you were, you'd realize that family name was MUCH more important than the individual at this time in history. Hence the massacre of the entire Tagrabunti Family because one guy was an idiot that happened a century ago.

Still, the current Angora Court Emperor's family was there long BEFORE the Mad Emperor, and it was there AFTER the Mad Emperor, so there is a wider range of history that now can be seen, and since the current Mad Emperor (the third) is the OTHER line, this line is accepted a bit... more. However, Armenia was mostly closed off with the world. OOC: It doesn't matter, I'm still the Emperor regardless of which side wins. Not much really changes. If the Angoran pretender actually manages to defeat my Emperor, then he'd just move to Constantinople and every thing else should remain the same.
