Good series so far, although I'm curious as to why you are going for nukes and not stealth bombers? Also, what VC?

Guess domination. I wanna know where uranium is. I should be able to conquer the northern continent without nukes, but no chance against the continent Cesar is on. So yeah, after atomic theory I'm going for stealth bombers.

Chapter 17 - 1300 ad/

Spoiler:

I'm so smart. I nearly signed a RA with Poly. That happens if you play in short sessions and forget about your world domination plans.

Anyway. I'm getting my destroyer into position. Ally Brussel and scout around the borders a bit. Cavalary, cannons and a mix of infrantry/rifleman is what I can expect.

Blitzed Yaroslave and heading for the smaller southern cities. Really don't like to go for the big one right away and getting flanked all the time while doing so.

Chapter 18 - 1335 ad/1350 ad

Spoiler:

Connecting Petersburg to the capital by harbor is pretty important right now. I want Moscow to have the railroad modifier asap. Getting the "cheap" stuff like libary, temple and so on there first then ... from then on - units!

Chapter 19 - 1350 ad/1380 ad

Spoiler:

I was a bit confused by this uranium tile near Venice. Will the border pop once the CS discover atomic theory?
Think so, still going to try to plant a city between Venice and Petersburg and buy that tile. This way I can also let naval units through.

Chapter 20 - 1380 ad/ 1410 ad

Spoiler:

Bulbing a "cheap" tech, so I get a better reward from the upcoming RA. Not that it matters much, the other way around would have gotten me same amount of science if I'm not mistaken. I'm really looking forward to G&K when they hopefully will fix this RA and GS nonsense.

I tried to ally Sidon, but so did Polynesia ._.. Nearly 2000 gold wasted. The other CS's were bought by Rome and Hawatha.

edit: Actually with two RA's coming at the same turn, it was better to use the GS first.

Fascinating... so it was the Polynesians who done the Koreans in. Ironically, the reverse was almost true in a recent game of mine lol

You should probably aim for the capital and then Nuku Hiva after this. That uranium tile is sitting there so lonely

Chapter 21 - 1410 ad/ 1430 ad

Spoiler:

If you are wondering why I kept switching techs ... everytime my happyness went into the red direction I thought "damn, you do need the stadiums".
Then again, I get my next policy in roughly ~5 turns. It will improve courthouses and give me quite a happyness boost.

St. Petersburg will focus on building navy from now on. Thats why I bought the seaport.

edit: Forget the courthouse thing. Next policy will reduce buy cost of units, then courthouses.

And we are back to policies again. I thought abit about what to use the GE for and decided to go for the Sydney Opera House. In hindsight the Eiffel Tower could have been better ...

Spoiler:

Purchasing that uranium obviously did not work. But looking at the picture ... did I had to purchase the water tiles first?

I agreed to the DoF. I'm going for the northern continent with Mongolia and Denmark next. Songhai and Arabia will most likely be my only friends for the rest of the game.

Finally finished the game today. Got another ~600 pictures. Like last games I'll start making posts without much comments, especially when I start to invade the northern continent. Theres simply not that much to comment on.
Spoiler:

Don't get fooled by the picture after taking the new policy. I annex'ed some cities right away ... the policy for itself gave me around 30 happyness.

Spoiler:

I'm sweaping every turn and have fighters to intercept ... but jeez ... those masses. Bet he has like ~15 fighter/bomber himself.
I tried a new approach from this point on: take that one city, move everything out of range and kill every meele unit in range to take the city. That way he will attack the city will all his stupid air units.
