Here are some maps to illustrate where Civilization V features are located in the real world and how they're distributed geographically:

1. Civilizations
Please note that it wasn't my intent to represent the civs at their greatest extent. That would be hard to draw and wouldn't look nice. The main idea was to associate the ingame civs with their modern counterparts. So in order to keep things plain, many great empires were completely underestimated.
The hatched areas may represent:

3. World Wonders
Hubble Space Telescope and The Great Firewall are not included.
4. National Wonders and Projects
Generic National Wonders (Heroic Epic, Ironworks, National College, National Intelligence Agency, National Treasury and Palace) and Projects (Utopia and Spaceships parts) are not included.
5. Natural Wonders
*G&K Natural Wonders. Not all of them are confirmed.
Feel free to suggest anything you judge pertinent, and warn me if I missed something.

- Afghanistan, Tajikistan (and Turkmenistan): Persia;
- Northern Sudan: Egypt;
- Eritrea: Ethiopia;

- Canadian Borders: Iroquois;
- Iceland and Greenland: Denmark.
- Western parts of China (Tibet and Xinjiang);
