"We had stayed isolationist last turn because of... internal laziness problems deemed to have came from inept males infiltrating our government. Those swine have been dealt with. However, this is beyond the point. What we are saying is that we are now back on the world diplomatic scale, and the state of the world absolutely disgusts us.

Menswine run rampart, brainwashing the superior gender with lies that they are the inferior, and denies women their basic rights. Some nations force us to wear veils, bind ourselves to men's will, and do other horrific thing which may expanded upon later. Even semi-civilized states, such as Renfair, who puts some of their men in their place only do it half-heartedly.

Because of the failure of freedom spreading past our borders, we have decided that we need to step our game up instead with an ultimatum. Mistreat us women, and we will respond as a watchdog. New England is perplexed and amazed at the enigma known as Renfair. One one hand, you are miles ahead of the rest of the world by having some of your women outright enslave your menswine. This is something we even haven't done yet, and should be applauded. However, you also allow men enslave women. This in turn makes Renfair worse in some aspects. And then you allow men enslaving men, which we find hilarious, and women enslaving women, which makes us baffled.

In all, we find Renfair to be an interesting nation, and we want to open up relations with you. We offer a NAP for the time being

I wouldn't be surprised if there was at least one woman who got tortured or brainwashed by their horrible government...

In adittion to this map, the Imperial Public Relations Office has released a statement on the workings of the Areas and Lands.


The Five Lands

The Five Lands, Caluula, Garoowe, Laascaanood, Burco, and Haylaan, are the five original nations that were conquered by Caluula Land to form the Empire of the Horn. The inhabitants of the Lands are considered first class citizens of the Empire of the Horn, and are holders of the rights and responsibilities pursuant of said status. In addition, the Glorious Emperor of the Empire of the Horn of Africa, Hussein Salad Ahmed III, in His Everlasting Wisdom, has been contemplating forming a Senate as an advisory body so that the People of the Empire of the Horn can make their concerns known to Him. In this type of advisory body, the Lands would have greater representation than the Areas.

The Areas

The Areas of the Empire of the Horn include Berbera, Kebri Dehar, Beledweyne, Dhuusamareeb, and Gaalkacyo. They are areas of the Empire of the Horn that the Glorious Emperor of the Empire of the Horn of Africa, Hussein Salad Ahmed III, in His Everlasting Wisdom, ordered to be pacified so that Peace, Order, and Security could be returned to the now defunct and ancient regions of the Ethiopian and Somalian states. The citizens of the Areas are considered second class citizens, and have signifigantly less rights than the Five Lands. If the Glorious Emperor of the Empire of the Horn of Africa, Hussein Salad Ahmed III, in His Everlasting Wisdom, does indeed decide to form a Senate, the Areas will be represented very lightly.

A little tricky. Treasury is what you have, income is what you're expected to make this turn. You can spend above your treasury, and as long as it doesn't exceed income your net revenue won't be negative. However, since trade status is applied before income is tallied, new embargoes can unexpectedly cut into finances.

Think of it as, treasury is your cash, income is your credit limit.
