Civ4 BTS Help for Mercenary Modding

I like to design my Civ 4 BTS for personal use, I would like some help adding the option to purchase mercenaries. Where in the XML could I add this option? What would I have to do to get this option. Any help is greatly appreciated.

First, welcome!

I'm sure that something like that exists, because I know of some mods that have that feature. However, this is the wrong forum for this type of question. Start here:

C&C

I know Rhys has the feature and actually comes as a scenario mod to BTS, although it has been updated significantly since original release. I'm pretty sure other large modpacks have it as well. I'm not a modder though, so you can either check the files of those mods and figure out how to create your own or ask around for advice.

It's very possible that there is a Mercenary Mod component that you could find as well that can be easily incorporated into the base game OR just try one of the modpacks if you really want Mercs.

Thanks, I made a thread there in C and C just now, I should've figured that as I have frequented that place there for Leaderheads and Unit Reskins. I do know about Rhys's mod, that's where I got the idea, that and some inspiration from Battlestorm: Hundred Years War.

And thanks for the welcome. I have used this site for a year now for Downloads and help, but just now made an account because I need the help.
