Peace Loving: Not Doing Anything?
So the founder belief Peace Loving seems like it should be awesome once you spread your religion around a bit. Problem is, in my current playthrough, it seems not to be doing anything. When I spread the religion, my happiness never climbs (nor does it climb the next turn), and when I mouse over Happiness I don't see "
from religion" listed. Anyone else having this problem? The wording of the belief is: Peace Loving: +1 Happiness for every 5 followers of this religion in non-enemy foreign cities. I've been meeting those criteria, spreading it in other civs' cities and in city-states, getting well over 5, sometimes over 15, followers, in civs that are generally at least neutral, usually friendly, and often that I even have Declarations of Friendship with. Anyone know what the problem could be? Here's a bunch of screenshots that illustrate the situation. (Also, I'm using Mac, which could potentially be an issue, but that's doubtful.) I find my happiness with peace-loving tends to plateau rather than climb much. Remember that happiness is competing with unhappiness throughout the game.

Me too!
Same experience. Under the little smiley up top I was NOT getting +any happiness under religion for this policy - and I had more than a few cities with >5 followers -- no one seems to be noticing this or its just us!

Anyways, since it seems there's little knowledge of that on this forum, and since we've had someone corroborate, could we get this moved to the Bugs forum?

I'm also seeing the same problem, and I'm on a PC. I have multiple foreign cities with five or more followers, and I don't even have a religion line in my happiness breakdown. I just thought I was missing something, since this was my first game since buying Gods and Kings, but then I found this thread. Very frustrating.

I got the same bug. Was even hesitating between Ceremony Burial and Peace Loving and chose Peace Loving.

Can anybody actually confirm this working as intended? It's surprising to me how little discussion this has generated one way or another. Especially with how strong that belief seems to be. I mean, I'm getting ~75 gpt by early industrial with Tithe; that's a lot of happiness Peace Loving would give you!

I had this problem as well. I even googled something like "Peace Loving bug" and checked the bug lists...

Save would be useful, I guess. |

This is a known bug, so don't worry about a save if you can't find one. It's indeed not working.

This seems like a bool is borked somewhere. Do we have access to modding on that level?
This is one of the few really serious bugs ( for singleplayer anyhow ) so it would be nice if Thal could mod it or something. |

Peace loving doesn't work
Title says it all.
I have Peace Loving as a founder belief and I don't get a happiness bonus. I've noly started spreading my religion, but I should at least get one or two from it.
