The fact that I was ahead of you in the first place shows that the scoring is probably not an accurate reflection of strength of gauntlet performances. Anyway, you still have a few to go to get to #1.

(From above "... to go to get to..." I love the English language!)

It is read "Koujin" and means "powerful deity".
Not in the sense of a deity player, but in the sense I feel entirely accomplished in HoF now.
When you start beating people (as #1 place) without mapfinder, I know what I am doing and don't rely on luck. And expertise begins.
Already, I see I made a mistake as a particle should have been included between that and HOF.

Which particle? God particle?

I was confused days ago because some HOF No.1 is played with future start. Now I understand. It means that very few people try that category. There are 24*9=216 awards at deity level. Even if they are all blank, it'll take thousands of hours to play all the categories. Not to mention the time-consuming Marathon/Time victory ones.

To my surprise, the fastest conquest of standard/normal/deity is AD1996. Can you believe that? Is it a game played 7~8 years?

I tried to set some more realistic date to that conquest but accidentally took fastest domination. Probably the only attempt after cabert's future start. Yeah, HoF ''slotting" is not played much, but there is some good competition on gauntlets and challengers.

荒神 [こうじん]: God of the cooking stove! AKA a "powerful deity"! Interesting how the different english translations of the same japanese word can be so seemingly different.

HoFの荒神 ?

Food is my weak spot.
Japanese language is well-known for its ambiguity. For instance, quite often in sentences, the subject is not mentioned and the context makes it up.
In contrast, french is extremely precise and harder to play rhetorically.

Exactly! That is the missing particle. の= "no" , particle of possession or correlation.

@sossos

Sadly, when Higgs boson is hidden in the meander of quantum world, refusing to show itself. Will the standard model survive? It is a matter of time.

The deity game you pointed is one game called a low-hanged fruit in HoF slang. Somebody wanted that slot and got it without straining or rivalry. Quite often for completing the quattro thing, which is far too much for me. I love tense competitions, not completing a table for its sake (which is just a matter of time invested)...much alike "finds all the secrets in a game and you get 104% of the game completed".

Do I understand that right that you, Tachywaxon, have that signature to show that you're playing Deity HoF without cooking starts? Excuse me if this is wrong, I'm really confused atm...

I'm not particularly a deity HoF player nor a complete non-user of mapfinder of cooked starts. Far from it as it will certainly greatly penalize me over others, especially short-run games. Space games, Diplo games can be diminished by starts difference by good play and right strategy. But a fast conquest or domination demands good starts as everything must be settled fast. Unless the fast conquest is unrealistic and then we have time to develop an economy so a long term strategy is viable. For instance, one who plays without any commerce will certainly have immense difficulty over the other one with a minimalist commerce start. Exceptions exist though. As an example of an average start I won is the challenger-VIII-01 where cas had a three gold start while I had none. Different strategies and abilities made the cut. Good quechuas wins helped too.

I'm still confused.

Why did you choose chinese as part of your title, why is the other half in english, what do you want to say with "HoF God of the cooking stove" ? And is the no now missing or left away intentionally? What do you want to express with your title Tachywaxon? And why do you have a picture of <cannot be sure to call everyones hate target> as an avatar?

Well I plan to complete all games (3 and 9 might be too hard for me though), certainly won't compete with you on any game though

well i definitely planned to participate, not exactly compete, but at least participate, since participation should be fun for everyone and this time the mixture looked like a bit more to my tastes...

but ... crusader kings II.... too much fun. was playing yesterday as Scottland count going up the ranks...if I didn't have to get up 6 a.m. to work I would certainly play longer then "just" up to midnight...

Same here, but if you're looking for someone to beat your times, better look somewhere else, i certainly lack the experience on most of the conditions there.
