Pantheons bugged ?
I've occasionally had inconsistency with pantheons that give faith and/or culture and passed it as a no big deal, perhaps just a visual thing on a city screen. Mainly these have been either Desert Folklore or God of the Open Sky - pantheons related to plantations seem to work better.
However, in my current game I chose Stone Circles and it each quarry properly gives 2 faith if worked by capital but nothing on the other cities. One quarry is workable by the capital & another city but the faith output only works on capital. Both cities have Stone Works but it doesn't change anything nor should it. In past games, too it's always some other city than capital that's screwed. This time it's been ~90 turns without giving a single faith so at least it's consistent now but hardly a satisfactory solution. It's hardly a gamebreaking issue but annoying since investing religion is tricky enough without osing obvious perks of it. G |

I thought the pantheon automaically spread to your cities upon placement, unless you had founded a religion in which case you had to wait for the religion to spread to new cities, or convert them using a missionary

Well, did the city have the "lightning bolt" icon that signifies the presence of the pantheon?

Previously it was more like faith/culture gain was fluxuating from turn to turn without my involvement randomly. Perhaps the governor was playing hide and seek - who know. OT, but deserves a notion: Same game, T145 Beijing conquered with a single pearls on 1st ring without a fishing boat. I think I'll start a query to see who takes a capital with unimproved lux on latest turn. G |
