Installation Error
Ok, forget my last post, not that anyone could help anyway.
I gave up trying to fix the game load problem and reinstalled my system just in case. Went to reinstall CIV and it only gets 93% of the way through before coming up with this: Component: Program_Files File Group: Scenario_Files [ENGLISH] File: I:\data2.cab Error: Data error (cyclic redundancy check). Any ideas? I've cleaned the cdrom and even tried a different cd drive both to no avail. |

Cheers, have done so already. Also tried this on another machine and failed (same error). Leads me to conclude that the cd has somehow grown a physical fault (not a mark on it though).
