I really like those concept art images, especially Shaka's. 
I dot know why is it, but I often find the concept art of leaderscreens more glamorous than finished in-game art... Perhaps it is just my taste more towards 'painting-like' style.

I've just realised that this is the first time we've actually seen a "dig" in progress; previous previews have been of the site prior to the action being taken.

Nice catch, and I don't think I will want to pronounce Zulu city name. I hope the trade route might have little ship/wagon traveling along the road with density imply it's revenue ala Total War. (Medieval II?)
