List other Games (as a resource)

I'm currently looking for graphics from other games in order to convert them for my purposes in my mod.

It's quite a hard work to look with Google search for a specific building (say, water treatment basin) and get some game graphic as a result...

I think we should compile games which could be good providers of graphics (and I'm talking mainly about buildings) and of course the sites, where one may find some decent graphics/screenshots)

So, I make the start:

Simcity 3000
http://www.gem.hi-ho.ne.jp/hisa-mats...ark/europe.htm
Tropico
http://kendahlj.esmartweb.com/tropico/buildings.htm
http://www.railroadtycoonii.com/images/
http://noctalis.com/dis/tropico/build-00.shtml (buildings in black/white only)

RoN
AoK
AoE
Cossacks

Well, I'm actually too tired now to think or search, but it's a start.

This is the link to Japanese simcity3000 index. There are also building graphics from other continents.

Ukas that is a great site. I will be able to replace some of my current images with some of those there. Thanks.

Here is another SimCity 3000 Unlimited Site.

There is a great image for the Terracotta Army at that site.

Kal-el - there are lot of interesting stuff there in your links too. I wonder how to fit that terracotta army in a civilopedia icon?

Heavengames has many sites with buildings, not all of them have graphics though - this is a link for cossacks:

http://cossacks.heavengames.com/theg...gs/index.shtml

btw people, with simcity buildings I recommend darkening the cut and adding some contrast, Sim buildings are perhaps too dim and light if only resized and added straight to Civ3. Some cases I've also sharpened them little, if the result was blurry.

You would have to crop it and shrink it just a bit.

I'd think a more "Great Wall" approach where you just show some of it would be the only way to get any detail at pediaicon size. Something like this, for instance (but better and with actual grass ) :

Much better idea pd - I guess I'm too used to fit every building inside 128x128 pixels. Man, I even see dreams of it sometimes

Rise of Nations Oracle

Click on the various technology icons to get previews of a bunch of buildings. There are also fourteen Wonders including another Terra Cotta Army.
