Trade Problems

PBEM game I'm playing in we have run into a problem. The first person I ran into sent me a trade (alphabet for bronze working).

However, everytime I try and click on "accept" , the trade disappears and both me and the other player show as "Player has not accepted trade". After trying several ways to accept with no success, I cancelled his trade and then remade it on my turn and sent it on to him. He claims he has had the exact same result as me. Can anyone give us some advise?? Anyone experienced this before?

When your friend send you the tech the first time, he probably just highlight the tech and then click 'send'. As per normal. Then you click on 'accept', after offering your side of the bargain.

Here comes the important part - your friend must now click on 'accept' too to accept the trade, provided he's happy with your offer. Otherwise, it won't go thru.

Heres how its done

turn 1, Player 1 - offer your tech to player 2
turn 1, Player 2 - an offer pops up on player2 at start of his turn. player 2 offers his tech

turn 2, Player 1 - The trade offer pops up on your screen at start of you turn, it should have what you offered and what player 2 has offered. Lets assume you accept it, so you click on accpet offer

turn 2 Player 2 - Player1's accepted offer appears at start of turn, Player2 must now accept or decline the deal. If player 2 accepts the deal, then the trade is then done.

turn 3 Player1 - Check you tech screen or trade screen to make sure the trade has gone through
