HOF Civ4 Update Discussion

The Civilization IV Hall of Fame has been updated. 21 games were accepted since the previous update.

Congratulations to Mad2rix for the highest score of the update with a Huge, Marathon, Chieftain, Domination game for 823,326 points.

smitsk00 was the most active player during this update, submitting 5 games.

Only 1 player was brave enough to take on Deity this update:

I've submitted #27802 about 3 days ago, but it hasn't been checked until now. Is that because the game is for the current Gauntlet or was the game maybe overseen?

You were going for a high score or time game and accidentally won diplo? and because huge maps are such an investment you submitted it anyway?

It was a score game. I didn't accidentally win tho, I chose to win at the first opportunity as planned. I thought I could play a casual game and beat the 138k score, but that score was harder to reach than I thought. My plan was to concentrate on population and ignore research for a change. Seems like every Civ game is a research race. Instead I let the AI get MassMedia and build the UN. Consequently, I didn't build up any research power, so going for Sushi was out. I just ended the game.
Still fun. It was nice to have a good use for the Medium and Small map.

Oh, I forgot the 2nd part of my goal. Playing 'Huge, Raging' games for 100 QM points.
