Smile Serious request: Sopwith Camel (WW1)

Text and image: Sopwith Camel

Perhaps it has already been done but I don't think so.

In all the flights sims I have played, this is the plane I feel most comfortable with - it's always a great fun plane to fly!

Now I need a bi-plane for a mod, and the Camel would be my first choice for a "generic" unit. Looking at the history of aircraft, it would probably be a historians first choice too

Would someone be prepared to take on this project? Please...

Oki, I guess the existing unit "Bi-Plane" would qualify as a Sopwith Pup/Camel. It's a nice unit too

Actually, Kinboat did a Sopwith Camel. It's in the Unit Library.

Here's the link:

It's half way down the page, under 3 WW1 planes by Kinboat.

I think there are at least two bi-planes: Kinboat's Sopwith Camel and mine Gloster Gladiator.

Somebody also made a triplane

Kinboat's planes are really, really great, but they seem to be overly large. Would it be a big deal to resize them just a tad?

Actually, I think Kinboat made like six bi-planes altogether, didn't he?

I know he made at least four because I was sorting through them when I was deciding on which ones to put in my mod... I think there's two bi-plane packs of three in the Unit Library from him.

I had 6 WW1 planes but they weren't all biplanes... Yeah I know they are oversized compared to the original planes... Don't know how hard it would be to resize them, just reducing the storyboard might give some strange results.
