Relocating address book
I've just got a new system ( Athlon xp 2600 etc) with windows XP on it and I want to know if there is a way to get all my address' from the address book in my old comp ( celery 533) into the address book of my new comp? The celery is on windows 98
The 2 pc's arent networked. Thanks

Oh crap. .. ask me something I knew two years ago when I exported my last system. . . .
I *think* that you want to do a right click on the properties for the old machine, and find a folder there. Then it's a matter of copying and pasting, as I recall. I'll look into it this weekend when I have time and let you know, if someone already hasn't done so. It's not that hard, as I recall. ..but then again it's been two years. |

Actually, it's easier than I remembered: File/Export/Address book. There's also a messages option.
What I was trying to do with my old one, and it took some work, was export the folders. Now that was a PITA. But this is pretty easy. Shouldn't be huge, so putting it on a floppie shouldn't be a problem. . . |
