How much money can the AI have ?

After a long war, I was surprised to see how much gold the AI have. The vikings are in communism for a long time(everybody is)
and they can still generate so much gold. I don't even know how does he spend it since he is in the tech lead as well.
How much money did your AIs have ?

Sorry can't put the image up. Can anyone tell me how?
Anyway it's big map they had 30 k gold and can still pay me 1100 per turn. And I just checked, their science rate is 100%

I have seen this too, but not to the degree you say (of course, I typically play Small maps... but I have seen the AI research techs every two turns (AP Mod), have 100% science and still wage wars on several fronts (and lose), but still come up with reinforcements. All of this was on Monarch.

I would think this would be more likely to happen as the map size increases and the difficulty goes up (more cities, more bonus units)

There was a screenshot posted here a while back with an AI having over 100k gold and being filling to pay thousands of gpt.

If they have science at 100%, and are still making money, that means they're making some serious cash on gpt deals with other AIs.

i've never seen an AI over 30k. most games, they seem to spend every piece of gold they earn and I modded science so that no govs can research over 80%.

My one experience with AI having tons of money:

The english had under 1000gold and I managed to trade a tech to them for 800gp/turn. Every turn afterwords the english were making almost twice as much gold as they were giving me! Within 10 turns or so they had 10000 gold, it was like I was giving them money instead of them to me. That wasnt the case I would of most certainly noticed 800gp vanishing a turn

This was a non modded game and on lowly warlord in the late industrial early modern times.
