Interesting?

Did you know that almost 60% of CFC members have 0 posts... I just thought this was funny. How can we get these members to post more?

Do we really want those people to post, though?

If nothing more it gives diversity of ideas...

As of this post CFC has 34,691 users
this means that roughly 13,900 people are doing all the talking...

Many probably signed up and never posted.... Actually a lot less than 40% still post because many posted once and stopped after a while. Many more probably had a question or a technical problem with civ and after they were solved they left.

I know that I often sign up for webboards and other such things on a whim really late at night when I'm not thinking straight and wake up and ask myself "what the hell? when did I register here?" and never post there.

There could be many such cases at work here.

I was one of those 0 post folk for a whole year. Recently I 'refound' these forums, got interested and was most amused to discover I already had an account here. Rather convenient, really.

Maybe having a large number of 0 Posters is a good sign of a healthy forum though. Or an inactive one...either way it works.

I wonder what percentage of 0 post users are actually DL's.

Also, I wonder what percentage of users have 1,000 posts or more...and what percentage of posts are made by those people.

Last time I checked there were just over 250 such users, there are probably 270-300 today. I'm not going to count all their posts though...

2-5% of those users are probably DLs too, (double logons) some created by more infamous users...

Well, there are 267 posters over 1000 posts, making them .76909% of the CFC populace.

And there are 719 posters over 300 posts, making them 2.07109% of the CFC populace.

And I am in the top .1382% .

Or more likey were looking for a pirate copy of civ3 and found that this site doesn't support that.
