I doubt this is the correct place to put this, but I would like to petition for the retirement of this position. I nominate no one. It should be left vacant.
If someone feels that this post should be deleted, I gladly will. Let's face it, Plexus didn't really have anything to do this term and no one seemed to notice. |

Wow, I'm getting a lot less resistance that I thought I would. By the way, Plexus, I just now realized that you were the one that made the Japan 1583 scenario. My girlfriend who grew up in Japan and I love it!! I was trying to create the same scenario off that same website's maps and everything. When you released yours I realized that mine sucked. Thanks for making such a great mod.
(once again, this probably didn't belong here.) |

@deshelbr- Thanks, and no it didn't belong here...
![]() @Rik- Tokugawa is positioned accurately. Many of the diversions from that map are either for gameplay purposes or other historical or political reasons. Culture has not served a puropse in this game, true, but it was very useful in DGs 1&2.

Then we should change the Culture Department to how it was in DG1 and 2, or get rid of it.
Or we could all just play Plexus' Japan Scenario ![]() (speaking of which, I'm downloading it now )

I'll second them both.
To make this office come to use, they should calculate culture flip propabilities in addition to the regular duties.

Thanks CG and Bacon, but i'll have to Decline. I'm happy being a mere Mayor
, and don't think I could handle the huge resposibility of this role

Wasn't deshelbr's point that it didn't have any responsibilities?

While it seems there is nothing for this position to do, I believe that the position is what you make of it. If nothing else, this Leader has the opprotunity to keep the citizens up to date on a variety of statistics and information. That is a valuable role for someone to fill.
