gamecrash: HIGHLANDER unit

Hello

I wanted to install the highlander unit, but the game crashes after that.

Is there anyone who has this unit installed, and if yes.. how ?

off to C+C forum, youll get better lcuk. try to find the thread for the highlander unit and ask the creater.

I supppose you mean Kindred72's unit here, but that should be immaterial as the important thing isn't which unit you add, it's how you add it.
Did you add a PRTO_Unit_name in the editor?
PTW or vanilla?
Did you get a crash message? And so on and so forth. Details, my friend, details.

I believe there's a problem with a sound in the ini. file. I had it myself but I never corrected it. If so, it's a simple problem having something to do with the sound for one of the animations not being written the same way as the normal swordman's sound file for the same animation.

This got me thinking. If you do have PTW the Swordsman_Fortify .wav has a space at the end of the file name. This has messed up a lot of units in the move from vanilla to PTW.

hmm... I never had this problem. He could be talking about the other "higlander" unit. I believe there is one by someone else that actually calls his unit a "highlander".

I don't think so. To anwser the first Q. and the reason this thread exists, I have it in my game and I've never had a problem with it at all. Must be something you did wrong.
