yeah man, what difficulty are you playing? cause in the higher difficulties your cities are just born annoyed at you.Try and Emperor game, and just don't give your cities any entertainment or luxuries and I guarantee by size 3 they'll be knocking on your palace looking to put your head on a pike.

...which is after your turn ends, so the enemy units will be all healed up by your next turn...

I don't see any automated bombard moves..
In all attacks, i've had 10 or more cannons..and it's a bit boring press (b) in each one. But i've put the autobombard , they just keep asking for an action in the next turn. Can any one comfirm this?? |

You probably have the option: wake up unit when next to enemy unit activated. It's an option in the preferences menu (CTRL P to enter this menu).
I don't think autobombard is very usefull though (I rarely bombard for more than one turn). I would have liked a stack bombardment option, that would have been usefull.

Also, cities have to be placed on a river tile to avoid needing an aqueduct.
Even if you have rivers in the city radis you still need to be on a river tile to avoid building aqueducts. Note that unhappiness from over-crowding is completely unrelated to aqueducts (can't grow past size 6) - you get the first 1 or 2 or 3 citizens start happy, then all new citizens are unhappy and need either military police or lux's or other 'happy things' to balance it. |

If the citizens are unhappy and have nothing else to complain about, they will complain about it being overcrowded.
