Proposed changes to Elections laws
I would like to propose the following general updates to the elections laws and processes. My apology in advance for not doing this in the form of a marked-up copy of the pertinent sections, I'm in a bit of a hurry (crying baby) and don't want to forget the idea...
Update 1 Where the dates for the nominations and elections are stated, clarify that these dates (stated in end of month minus n days format), apply to general elections only. Special elections for whatever cause, can occur on a different schedule as stated by the election office, but require a minimum of 24 hours for nominations and 48 hours for the poll itself. Update 2 Any time an election is found to be invalid due to a procedural or factual problem (nominated and accepted candidate not included in the poll, incorrect poll options, non-accepted candidate is in the poll, non-citizen is in the poll), any citizen may request an immediate close of the poll, and a new election cycle following the special election rules.

I think these are good clarifications that should be added to our code. For update 2, do we need to specify a procedure for an official finding that the election is invalid? For example, does the Judiciary need to make an official finding?
