In English, please...

There's a South America map on CFC already... So it could be edited to fit for a Brazilian map.

Yes, entire posts in a language other than english is somewhat frowned upon in the forums... but you can say whatever you like in PMs.

Well it's a nice country, but would it really be that good of a map to play on? A good part of Brazil is jungle, which is quite useless unless you spend half the game cutting forests.

Nowadays there hardly is any jungle...
But you can always make it a forest.

JUNGLE???? For Christ sake!!!! Are you one of thos guy that thinks that Brazil's capital is Buenos Aires instead of Brasília??? Or that there is only Amazon Forest in the whole country? Or that we only a bunch of savage indians that walk naked?

There is only jungle in one State of the 27 that are in Brazil, Mato Grosso do Sul.
Amazon Forest ocuppy the Northwest of the Country.
You should try to learn more about the rest of the world... no wonder that you got into a fake war against Iraq.

Well... returning to the post, Mutante, it is not that hard to do a Brazil's map. If you need help, take one of these South American's map in the fórum ad use it as a start to your own map.

Actually Mato Grosso do Sul has the Pantanal, which is more of a swamp the actual jungle. But the Amazonic Forest is usually represented as jungle on the world maps because is rain forest, it has high umidity and traces of jungle terrain. But i see no harm on putting it down as forests.

There's a decent 100x100 map of South America here.

Hope that helps.

Ah sorry. I based my guess on the world maps, but come to think of it, those are probably modeled after South America 6000 years ago.

No. I know the capitals of most all the countries in the world.

No. But all the major civ3 maps I've seen that included South America were in large part jungles and mountains. When I played as the Incas, the only part of real life Brazil I could settle was the coast.

Well you perhaps.

Well sorry for not carefully analyzing the natural terrain of Brazil before . I looked at the civ maps people made, and 90% of Eastern South America was covered in jungle. Brazil is one of the biggest countries in the world, is it so wrong of me to assume that a great deal of it is jungle, or at least forests?

Wtf??? I'm Bosnian, I just got my citizenship last year. What the hell do I have to do with America's foreign policy?!? And how do you know I even supported the damn war??? Most Brazillians I've met are mature good-natured people, but it seems to me you should leave politics and go back to something you'd understand, like playing footbal on the beach .

Alright, guys, let's cool it down a bit... Licinio, I'm sure you don't know everything about everybody else's geography either...

There is a lot of vegetation in Brazil, there is also a good amount of plains and desert, so it'd be just about as diverse as a US or world map almost... And let's not forget that if we're playing a scenario here, stats can be altered.

Listen to Dom Pedro, guys, the ruler of Brazil(no tone once or ever).
The scenarion thread is on Century of Opression, shouldn't be too hard to find. I'm also registered on Civ3 Brasil, under the nickname Noto.
Could use the help to make an brazillian civ.
