Second Front questions
I've just started playing Captain Nemo's Second Front and have a few questions. I've been reading tons of strategy tips from the Apolyton Civ 2 site - thanks to Smash for the links - but a few things remain unclear.
Question 1: what exactly do fuel and ammo supplies do ? Are we talking food/shields here ? Maybe this is a dumb question.... Question 2: what is the range of the big coastal guns - 6 or 12 squares - as the SF rules.txt file seems to suggest that the shells from these guns can be airborne for 2 turns. Question 3: is there a reference map anywhere of the area !! I mean, I spent one game just figuring out which beach was which and where certain places where... whilst getting thoroughly pasted by the Germans... Question 4: has anyone ever finished the entire thing and lived to tell the tale... it seems next to impossible.... thanks |
