Chose Human, spread my skills out mostly amongst starfreighter-fighter stuff, diplomacy, trading, and vehicle stuff.
This real-time stuff is pretty realistic. I'm having to wait another 4 days before my ride gets here.

Well I'm working for a transport company at the moment, have to see how things go. Maybe CFC could conquer the galaxy after I've gotten a few paychecks to fund our effort.

There are some free emails that can be used. Especially some French emails, and still the admins think it's a paid email
That's what I use.Lord Paul, to get a vehicle or any ship I guess you have to join a faction and ask your boss for one. I'm freelance and can't find a way to make money either. Plus their getting started link doesn't work, nor the FAQ. And since I don't know which building is a bank, or a work company... :s Thrawn, what's sabbacc? Plus if you happen to drop on Corellia, I'd gladly board as a stowaway

I just signed up. I'm a freelance player.
Does anyone here know how to move your character across the city? Everytime I enter a coordinate and press go I get either a "you can't go there message" or some sort of fatal error message.

You don't know what sabbacc is? YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT SABBACC IS???
 Its how Han won the Millenium Falcon from Lando. See here for rules. You can also play on that same site. I don't know what Pazaak is, so I can't compare. edit: Checked on gamefaqs, and they seem rather different from what I read. Pazaaks more like blackjack, sabbacc's more like poker. If you want some money, look at getting a job via the classifieds - its probably about the only way to earn any money at the start. With my job at Blue Sabre Transportation, I'm getting paid 30k credits per month. From what I can tell, it'll go to 50k after I finish my trial peroid or something. They also assign me a ship once I get to their headquarters.  When I moved a bit, I just clicked on the location I wanted to go to, clicked go, and away I went.
