is this ip masker legal?
i downloaded a freeware program called jap
http://anon.inf.tu-dresden.de/index_en.html it make my ip look differt than it really is, is this legal? Is it ok, or am i just paronoid |

How does it work? You can't _change_ your ip (except if you have a dynamic ip. it'll still be in your isp's ip range...). Does it use a proxy or what? If it does, remember, they could be sniffing your tcp packets...

you connect to some server in germany or the nerthlands (cant remeber which) and it masks your ip, i tested it. i did it search on google "what is my i[" with it off it was my real on, with it on it was a totaly differt one. it only works in broswers, mirc on stuff it wont work with.

It is legal. You are just using the servers to connect the content you want, not spoofing your ip.

IP Spoofing is legal, but can be, and often is, used for illegal purposes.
