Problems viewing a site. Please Help
I keep trying to go to this websitehttp://www.halo50k3.com/ .....but I cannot figure out why I keep ending up looking at a black screen with a bunch of broken image links and etc. I have a Athlon 64 FX-51 processor, 160 GB HD, 1 gig DDR SDRAM, and Norton Antivirus 2004 and Norton Internet Security 2004. All of my friends can view this website, and I have used IE, Mozilla, and Firefox to view the website, but I keep getting the same results. All of my settings in my preferences are on default.......so I am assuming it is not a browser problems. I have also deleted my temp files and my cookies, but did not delete the offline content......and I still have the same problems. Can somebody please help? THANKS.
(Posting this for a friend, for those keeping up with my new PC journey) |

Hmm... Norton Internet Security may be causing the problem... Try to set it to minimum or turn it off and access the site.

Ohh, that is a NICE computer, but not yours, correct?
It is probably NAV, I have NAV '04, and it does that same things. I usually just fiddle with the options, and turn something down, I believe it is the Options -> AutoDetect -> Bloodhound that causes the problem. Normal or Low is fine, high is just a pain, constant Virus Alerts dealies . . . shouldn't turn it off, though . . . |
