Games Like Civ but more trade based?
Does anyone know of any good games that are based on trade/investment or anything like that? I really think a game like taht would be fun. Whether you are a corporation or a country...I love civ but I'm really a builder at heart so just wondered if there was a Civ like game with a deeper economic system.
Thanks! |

I like such games, too. Tycoons or Simcity are very nice. But i can't think of a civ-like game.

Well there's Tropico, and some of the 5,000,000,000 tycoon games out there.

Sim City and Colonization are the closest things (that I know of).

IIRC, both Imperialism and Imperialism II are TBS games with a deeper economic and trade systems... I'm not sure, since I never played any of them...

The economic and industrial model in the game Victoria is quite deep - might want to take a look at that.
