Initial Setup files
First, huge KUDOs to you all for this GOTM section. I have had a lot of fun playing the last couple of months games this week and made my first submission for GOTM 31. Lots of fantastic work by those involved.
At the risk of being trold I am clueless, one very small point.^: I find it quite hard to find the instructions on how to set up the initial GOTM configuration. That is downloading the GOTM 21 setup and then the various Addons. I just decided to switch to the PTW version and despite being relatively familiar with this site it took me a while to figure out where these files were. They are not in the FAQ on the main GOTM page. I know it is in the reference thread in the GOTM forum but I would suggest it would help a lot of people if it were outlined or at least a link attached to the page link entitled: "Your 1st visit to the land of GOTM" This link only mentions which versions are required. Adding it here and / or the FAQ would be helpful IMHO. Just a thought no criticism intended. Great site. Regards |

Re: Initial Setup files
You are not the first to suggest something similar. Our website is somewhat neglected, but I think we've got enough things in order now that we can get on with updates like that.

Re: Initial Setup files
Another thought in a similar vein: I have wanted to try the GOTM for a couple months, but don't trust myself to install the succession of patches/uploads. Isn't there a way to put them all into one DL for idiots like myself?
