My cities kill their own units!
Its true! I had this one game in which, every time I used the "goto" mouse command, and unit that would pass through a city, would be attacked by the units in that city! I would just be trying to move my modern armor from one side of my empire, to another, and it would be attacked by the mech. inf. in the first city it would pass through! Also, when I decided to stop moving my units through my empire, they started attacking invisible units in random squares! Its crazy! Here's the situation... after space race victory... just decided to nuke everything.... everyone is at war with me now... razing cities left and right... you know, the typical thing to do after winning. Its quite frustrating to have my own units kill my own units! Has anyone else heard of anything like this happening?

Yup, happened to me once to- -- but i was NOT at war, and it was still during the scored portion of the game. I was curious to see what would happen if i actually took my own city--but i wasn't able to.

That has happened to me several times... I'm glad I'm not the only one. It's not just the goto command either...
You can just move your units next to the city and all hell breaks loose. |
