Rebuffing the rebels?

Is AI attitude affected if you rebuff a city that has flipped? Just wondering...

According to Bamspeedy's magisterial treatise on the subject, you do get (small) attitude boost if you rebuff the rebels.

Although as its going to be only +/-1 attitude point either way, its hard to know why you would care, just take the city and use it for yourself.

It must be some kind of intelligence test: "are you dumb enough to refuse to take this moderately sized city and some improvements along with a free defender unit?"

You do? Okay, I stand corrected. But still, the bonus is minute, as I have not noticed it at all during testing.
