Inegrid is not a single file; the upload is. Have you got winace? If not, download that first from www.winace.com.

Then use winace to decompress the Inegrid file you downloaded. Then you'll find all the normal files that are mentioned in this thread - simply follow the guidelines from post one .

The "#" indicates the lines of program inside the "pediaicons.txt" files... The "AAAA.txt" files are programs for the game...They are in the "Text" repertory af the last add-on you have e.g. Conquests. You have to change the "AAAA.txt" programs in the "Text" repertory of Conquests.... You have still a "Text" repertory in the CIVIII repertory but it's not used by the game if you have Conquests ( same with PTW...)
Have I answered to your question ?

No..The "AAAA.txt" files exists already ... You have to find it ... make a research with "*.txt" in the repertory of CIV III...
The text inside the AAAA.txt file is program lines for the game... It's important particularly when you have changed the names of the leader or when you add a new unit, etc...Without changes the game will crush...

You need a drawing program like for example Paint Shop Pro. With such a program you resize a picture to the size of the initial game picture and you register it under *.pcx type file.
For a leader it's more complex you need a program to create from your picture a little video under a *.flc type file.

As far as I know Winace is a program to compress file , very useful when you dowload heavy files... Personaly I use Winzip program ... When you download a file you have just to extract the content to have the right files...

Hello... I don't see like that ...
you should have an error message when the game crushes, could you note this message ?

ok, part of the problem may be that i'm on a mac (i've posted a similar concern over there), but I don't think it should make that big of a difference. the other MAJOR part of the problem was the the LH that I downoladed only came with a .flc, so i had to create the PCXs from scratch. (It's the Isabella leaderhead.)

Hi, I tried adding a new civ to my scenario (Romania) with a new leaderhead (Vlad Tepes). I've filled in all the required stuff in the "Civilizations" screen in the editor but when I enter the game to play with my newly created civ there's no Romania on the civ list . Does anybody have any ideas of what I did wrong? I think I followed frenchman's tutorial (which was very helpful) quite accurately.
PS: I play Conquests.

Hello,

There is a maximum number of civilizations in the game, you are obliged to delete one in order to create a new one... have you think to this point ?
Are you sure you have changed all the *.txt files...?
