Managing citizens question
I know this question has been asked before but I couldn't find it.
I make my citizens into sientists but after a few turns they go back to citizens. Is there a way to make them stay as scientists? In the governor page the citizen's mood is disabled, meaning that the governor doesn't control the citizen's mood, so why are they changing from scientists to citizens? |

Part of the problem is when your city's borders expand, or when you gain or lose a pop point, the govenor automatically reassigns workers to what it thinks the optimal worker placement is. By workers here I mean the pop of the city.
AFAIK, there's no way to change it. It's a safeguard for when cities are starving and loose a pop point they reassign the worker tiles so the city stops starving. Of course, when your population stabilizes (and you're no longer gaining pop) it shouldn't change. |

Not really, if you look at it from a programming point of view. The conditions set up are if the city pop increases or decreases, or the cultural borders increase. Since when you clean up pollution it doesn't necessarily cause the pop to shrink, it won't trip that flag.
Now, that's not to say it shouldn't reset when pollution is cleared. However, if you have the guv turned on, the next turn it will reset. |

We need some professional help
Perhaps some one from Firaxis can put this is a small patch. Should be easy to lock specialist. Custom placement of land use tiles aren't reset so I would assume you could use the same tag.
