Disabling a Victory Condition

I am trying for my first Cultural Victory on C3C- Monarch level.

However, I just realized that I did not turn off the space race victory condition. It is already 0 AD, and I want to turn it off. I am currently at tech parity and I feel I can stay there.

But I do not want some AI civ to run away with it and go into space a couple of turns before I achieve my cultural victory.

Can I turn it off? How do I turn it off?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I do not think it is possible to change vicory conditions once a game has started.

You just need to kill the AI before he launches a spaceship.

Yes, and if you have spy's in his capitol you can see how far they are on the space ship, if they get too close to completing you can always launch an all out offensive against their capitol city and that will destroy the space ship.

You should be able to win before a launch.

Starts some wars if necessary. That usually slows down the tech pace.
